Dental Implant and All-on-4 Cost in Diamond Bar: What Makes Up the Price

Dental implant cost is not one fixed number, and it differs from office to office because the treatment itself differs. One patient may need a single implant. Another may need a bone graft first, or a whole row of teeth replaced.

We don't list a set price here, because the right plan depends on your mouth. This page explains what goes into the cost so you can compare quotes fairly and know what to ask.

Why does dental implant cost vary from office to office?

Two people can both ask for "an implant" and need very different work. The main things that shape the cost are:

  • How many implants you need
  • What goes on top: a single crown, a bridge, or a denture
  • Whether bone grafting comes first
  • Whether you are replacing one tooth, several teeth, or a full arch

An implant doesn't behave like a natural tooth. It can't shift in response to bite forces the way a tooth does. For that reason, Dr. Cho and Dr. Jeon plan the number of implants carefully and consider the type of restoration at the same time. A quote that skips this planning step is hard to compare with one that includes it.

What is part of an implant treatment?

At Diamond Bar Dental Studio, implant treatment is a two-part process. Dr. Cho or Dr. Jeon places a titanium artificial root in the jawbone. After it has bonded with the bone, the replacement tooth, bridge or denture is attached. For bridges, this is done with abutments screwed into the implants.

If your jaw doesn't have enough bone, bone grafting is a separate procedure that usually comes before the implant. A graft takes about two to four months to heal fully, which also affects your timeline. See the treatment process for the steps.

At your consultation we go through which of these steps apply to you and how each is billed.

Full mouth dental implants cost: what changes the number?

Replacing a whole row of teeth is a different plan from replacing one tooth. Two options are common here:

  • [All-on-4](/types/all-on-4/): four implants in the upper jaw, the lower jaw, or both, holding a full set of replacement teeth.
  • Implant-supported removable denture: several implants joined by a metal bar, with clips on the underside of the denture.

For All-on-4, having enough bone is the main requirement. If you don't, a bone graft may be needed first, which adds a step to the plan.

For several missing teeth, placing two or three implants to support a fixed bridge can be more cost-effective than replacing each tooth with its own implant. Your exam shows which option fits. You can compare them on our implant types page.

Does insurance help with the cost?

Diamond Bar Dental Studio accepts all PPO insurance. That means we can work with your PPO plan. How much a plan pays toward implants varies by plan, and it isn't something we can promise before we see your plan details.

Bring your insurance information to the visit, and read implants and insurance for what to ask your plan. Ask about implant coverage specifically, since coverage for implants can differ from coverage for other dental work.

How do you get an accurate quote?

A real quote starts with an exam. New patients can book our $99 new patient special, which includes a comprehensive exam, panoramic X-rays and a complimentary consultation. We also use iTero intraoral scans and digital X-rays to see your situation clearly.

From there, Dr. Cho or Dr. Jeon can check how much bone you have, talk through your options, and explain the steps and costs involved. Come with your questions, and compare any other office's quote against the same list: number of implants, restoration type, and bone grafting.

To book, see consultation and directions or call (909) 403-1661. You can also read about our doctors and risks and aftercare before you come in.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do dental implants cost in Diamond Bar?+

We don't publish a fixed price. The cost depends on how many implants you need, what restoration goes on top, and whether a bone graft is needed first. After an exam, the doctors can explain your plan and what it involves.

Does a bone graft change the cost?+

It can. Bone grafting is a separate procedure, usually done first when the jaw lacks enough bone. It adds a step to the plan, and healing takes about two to four months.

Do you accept insurance for implants?+

We accept all PPO insurance. Your plan's implant benefits vary, so check your coverage and bring your insurance details to your visit.
